About Dr. Gyening

Dr. Gyening received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University Medical School in Washington, D.C.  After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, M.A. she returned to Howard University Hospital to complete her dermatology residency.

Dr. Gyening moved to Houston to join Seymour Weaver & Associates in 1994 and in 1995 she joined Kelsey Seybold clinics where she practiced for the next 13 years.

Dr. Gyening is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of several professional organizations including, Alpha Omega Alpha (National Medical Honor Society), American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatological Association, and the Texas Medical Association.
